Valiullah Hashmi is a visual communication designer. He is deeply interested in the power of images to communicate issues of social import. Over the past 5+ years, he has worked on several projects in the domains of gender, agriculture, climate change, healthcare, peacebuilding, livelihoods, and education.

Some of his major skill sets include art direction, communication campaign design, exhibition design, branding & identity, editorial design, print design, UI design, and infographics/data visualisation. Recently he has been exploring the fields of discursive and experimental design, as a way of understanding and critiquing underlying narrative and ideological systems and structures, located in a South Asian context.
